Our Story

A Legacy of Commercial Roofing Excellence

Since 1948, American Contracting U.S.A., Inc. has been building, protecting, and restoring the Rio Grande Valley. Founded in Rio Hondo, Texas, we are one of the oldest and most experienced commercial roofing and general contracting companies in South Texas — with over 75 years of completed projects spanning school districts, hospitals, county government buildings, industrial warehouses, and communities across Cameron, Hidalgo, Willacy, and Starr counties.

Where newer companies offer promises, we offer a documented track record across generations of South Texas growth. Our expertise centers on commercial roofing — from single-ply TPO and EPDM membrane systems to modified bitumen, built-up roofing, and standing seam metal.

As a certified NRCA member, AGC member, and HUB-certified contractor, we are qualified to bid on and execute the most demanding commercial and government roofing contracts.
