Standing seam metal roofing is the premium system choice for South Texas commercial applications where long service life, minimal maintenance, and maximum wind resistance are priorities. Unlike exposed-fastener metal panels, standing seam uses concealed clips that allow thermal expansion and contraction without fastener stress — a critical factor in the extreme temperature swings of the Rio Grande Valley climate, where roof surface temperatures can swing from 40°F in winter to 180°F on summer afternoons.
