Thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) single-ply membrane roofing is the dominant commercial roofing system for flat and low-slope roofs across the Rio Grande Valley — and for good reason. TPO's white reflective surface significantly reduces cooling loads in the intense South Texas heat, delivering measurable energy savings over dark-surface systems like EPDM or older modified bitumen roofs. Heat-welded seams create a continuous watertight joint that is stronger than the membrane itself, providing superior resistance to the wind-driven rain events common during South Texas hurricane season.
American Contracting USA is a certified applicator for three major TPO manufacturers — Carlisle SynTec, Firestone Building Products, and Johns Manville — which means we can offer NDL (no-dollar-limit) warranty coverage from 10 to 30 years depending on the system and insulation configuration specified. This NDL warranty is a standard requirement on most school district and institutional project specifications in Texas.
